Give these a try!
I called Maguire to confirm sizing (my calves are about 25 cm - I was worried I wouldn't be able to zip these up at all). Maguire team was so helpful. They walked me through the soft leather being designed to shape to each body. I actually had almost no break-in time, the boots zipped up beautifully! They do continue to stretch a bit in the calves, and I think they will be perfect pretty soon. I'm tall, so the heel height is perfect for me. I live in NYC - these boots are a great edge for an every-day or special occasion wear. Ordered my regular size (US 9.5/41).
